Molly grew up in dogs, in 1979 her parents bred their first litter of show dogs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. After they proved too big to handle for a seven year old, her parents bought her a Papillon. After high school, and showing many of her family’s dogs to their championships, she begn her professional Dog Handler apprenticeship, learning to care for, condition, and present top winning show dogs. She handled and owned the All-Time Top Winning Phalene Papillon Bitch in the History of the Breed by the age of 20. For the next 15 years, she showed top winning dogs throughout the US and abroad including Best in Show winning Portuguese Water Dogs, Yorkshire Terriers, Shih Tzu, and Australian Shepherds. She has also shown multiple Best In Show winning dogs as far away as Hong Kong, Thailand.
In 1996, she trained as a Master Certified Professional Groomer, specializing in Portuguese Water Dogs. Some of the top winning show and performance dogs that she has groomed and shown include winners at Westminster Kennel Club, the U.S. and Canadian Portuguese Water Dog Club Nationals. She has also groomed for many celebrities in the Seattle area and those just visiting.
Taking a break from handling in 2010, she still maintained her Club memberships including the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, PWD Club of America, Mt. Rainier Yorkshire Terrier Club and the Pacific NW PWD Club to work behind the scenes. In January of 2020, she began to handle again but on a smaller scale. This year, after moving to Augusta, Ga, she is concentrating on building her grooming clientele, and working towards retiring from Professional Handling and only showing the dogs she owns.
In addition, with her book, “How To Groom Your Portuguese Water Dog“, she is in demand for grooming seminars She and her husband Reinhard own two Portuguese Water Dogs, a Yorkshire Terrier and an Affenpincher.

I have been involved in the fancy since the early 70’s when I obtained my first Alaskan Malamute from Mrs. Eva Seeley, the mother of the Breed. My husband Paul was a Siberian Husky breeder, and we bred and exhibited both breeds under my kennel name Frostfield Reg. for the Malamutes and his name Itaska for the Siberians. We had group placing and specialty winning dogs in both breeds.
I am the past president, former AKC
delegate, and former show chair for Hockamock Kennel Club. I am a life member, former Judges Education Chair, and present board member of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America. Other club affiliations include the Siberian Husky Club of America, Yankee Alaskan Malamute Club, the Palm Beach County Dog Fanciers Association, and Morris & Essex Kennel Club.
I was first approved to judge in l993 and now judge the Working, Herding, Sporting, and Toy Groups, as well as several non-sporting breeds, BIS, and Juniors. I have officiated twice at Westminster KC and three times at the AKC National Championship, and havejudged the Alaskan Malamute National as well as the Siberian Husky National Specialties.
Foreign judging assignments include Argentina, Columbia, China, Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Belgium, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, and Hungary.
In my private life, I am a former English teacher and am currently involved with adult literacy. We now live with 3 Brussels Griffons and a Maine Coon cat. I am honored to be invited to judge at the Alberta Kennel Club, and I look forward to the assignment
